Minaret. - Completed Oct 2001

Currently, we are building a Minaret, which will house three clock faces (Roman, Arabic, Islamic). The Minaret is an important part of the Mosque. There are three items which form part of a mosque : Mimbar, Mehrab & Minaret. Alhamdulillah, with the help of the local Muslim Community, we have been able to build the Mehrab this year. The whole Mosque, throughout its history (spanning the past 20 years) , has been built with the help of the local Muslim Community. We ask, again, for your help in making sure that the Kingston Mosque is complete , by donating (see Banker's Orders and Gift Aid Donation as well) generously towards the building of the Minaret, which is expected to cost in the region of £30,000.
